George sat in his room, twiddeling with a bit fuse, left over from their latest project. Sure enough, the holidays were a blessing when it came to a break from school work, but he had to admit it had some disadvanteges as well, such as their mother watching their every move. With them, he of course meant his twin and himself, and they had been working on a project the past month, and now it was finally done. Sure enough, they wouldn't be able to test it until they were back at Hogwarts, in a month. After all, he wasn't entirely sure just how thrilled their mother would be with a blown up toilet, and little water fountains appearing everywhere. They had had to resort to some Muggle methods, and with some tweaking by means of magic those were perfectly suited to cause as big a havoc as any spell. He looked up. His brother was somewhere else, disposing of some waste that was left over from making this baby, though disposing was more a word Molly Weasley was to use than either of the twins. They preferred the word savouring it, to perhaps use later, though of course they wouldn't discuss plans like those anywhere near any other member of their family.
There were only so few they could trust with their plans anyway, Ginny showed some promise, though she was too young, the others... Charlie might be compliant with the plans, as he had always been the one laughing hardest about them, but then there was a spoilsport like Percy. Perfect Prissy Prefect Percy. True enough, when it came to it, Percy still was their brother, but their mother was too insistent they become like him, and if there was anything either of the twins despised, it was being forced into a preset mold. He then sighed, wasn't it September yet?

It was quiet. Too quiet.
With all her chores done and lunch simmering on the stove, her Christmas knitting being worked upon in the sitting room, Molly took a moment to listen to the house. Usually she could tell just where every soul in the home was just by the squeaks and creeks of the floorboard, but today, it was quiet. Too quiet.
She narrowed her eyes and shuffled over to the grandfather clock near the stairs. What surprised her is that George was home, but not making a noise. The side of her lips twitched as she contemplated what could make her son become so noiseless. Deciding it was best to intrude upon his solitude, she bellowed up the stairs. "George Weasley!!!!" Then waited for him to appear.

She She knew that both herself and James were going to be far to busy in the coming school year. Lily would need someone she could trust to look after her children. Maddie was an Auror much like James and would have no way to do so. Cora already worked her fingers to the bone and she couldn't impose on her best friend. So the only other person who came to mind was someone she admired within the order. Molly Weasley, she also had a daughter nearing Lily's age whom Lily could possible play with. It would do Lilith good to have other witch friends, not just her and the cat. It was early to be dropping in but if anyone was awake it would be Molly Weasley since she had a Quidditch team of children to watch over and cook for. Once her duty to the Order was done she apportated herself to the edge of the Burrows than drawing upon the happy memories of her childhood she produced a small silvery ball of light that quickly took the form of her Patronus a silvery doe, which blinked up at her as she sent the message to Molly.
"Morning, Mum Molly just thought I would drop in for a cup of tea, as I have a huge favor to ask of you. the Patronus relayed once it found Molly.
Lily took her time getting to the back door of the house, tapping lightly on it. At least she'd changed into a nice full sleeved dress of deep purples. Her red hair was pulled up and pinned her wand tucked into her hair as she often had it done. She called softly in a low tone. "Molly, have you time for a visit ?" she waited paiently "I brought muffins." she added with a soft chuckle. She had, she'd managed to save six of the chocolate muffins she'd made out of the three dozen that were baked. It was well known that Sirius Black had an on going Love Affair with Lily's baking, and could be found rummaging in the cookie jar or the muffin tins. Lily never minded because he really was extended family. Most Pure Blooded families were related somewhere, so James and Sirius were likely cousins no matter how far removed. There was also the fact the Marauder families were close.Snowflake her kneazle was keeping an eye on both Charlie and Lilith. Both could handle themselves but she'd rather not be gone to terribly long, since when James got up he was usually groggy and only ate if she nudged him into it.
