{Headmaster's Office} The entrance to the Headmaster's office is behind a statue of a gargoyle. To gain access, one must give a password to the gargoyle. When given the correct password, it will spring aside and the wall behind it will split in two, revealing a spiral stone staircase that moves upwards much like a Muggle escalator.

{North Tower} The location of the Divination classroom, one of the elective subjects taught at Hogwarts. Divination is the study of predicting the future through various means, including reading tea leaves, palmistry, crystal balls and astrology.

{Astronomy Tower} The tallest tower at Hogwarts, the Astronomy tower is where Astronomy lessons take place at midnight on designated days. Astronomy class covers the study of celestial bodies and is one of the core subjects taught at Hogwarts.

{Gryffindor Tower} The entrance to Gryffindor tower are two twin spiral staircases at the back of the Gryffindor common room, and they lead upwards to fourteen dormitories - seven for boys of each year, seven for girls.

{Gryffindor boys dormitory} Located up the winding staircase on the right-hand side at the back of the Gryffindor common room, the boys' dorms are seperated by year.

{Ravenclaw Tower} Located on the west side of the castle, the Ravenclaw tower houses the common room and dormitories for those in Ravenclaw house. Decorated in house colors like all the other common rooms, staircases in the back lead to the dormitories above.

{West Tower} The west tower in the west corner of the castle houses the Owlery. A circular stone room with many niches and wide-open windows, the room is often cold and drafty, and the floor is littered with small bones, straw and owl droppings. All of the school's owls are housed here, as are those that students may bring with them.
