[INNER THOUGHTS]
Overview: Severine is a self-confident woman. She has no problem standing before a crowd to speak. Her stance in the war is certainly not on Voldemort’s side, but she not taken a clear stance against him. She is a helpful person and very patient. She can easily take a lecturing tone with people who come to her to improve their performance in class, but if she catches herself lecturing the student, she’ll quickly try to revert to a more friendly tone.
Under normal circumstances, she is soft-spoken, smiling and graceful. When angered however, Severine will become fierce and go as far as being vicious. She does not scare easily and has a strong will. Sometimes impulsive, she is very capable of getting into trouble by speaking too much or getting in the middle of a fight that doesn’t really concern her.
She is protective over the student, considering those of her house to be like children under her care that need guidance in these dark times. She does have a thing against Slytherin, and even though she doesn’t speak it clearly, she manages to let it be known. She would spend less time helping a Slytherin that has difficulties with a subject or would not run as fast toward a Slytherin who fell of its broom than she would for the three other houses.

[HISTORY]
Severine was born in Paris, France. She lived a normal childhood, just like any other muggle-born muggle in the world. She grew up with the feeling that she was different, however. Sometimes, though not very often, she would answer questions that had yet to be asked, or bring to her parents things that they had only thought of and not requested out loud. She could not say how she had guessed, but Severine kept this for herself. As she grew older, stranger things happened; she wished for something really hard, something small, and it would happen. When the owl delivered the stranger invitation to Severine’s parents, she was ecstatic. There were more people like her out there! Her parents dismissed it for a joke, and requested that she dropped the subject. Severine became increasingly angry and as she threw a fit, the vases that were standing on the coffee table between her and her parents shattered for no reason. Her parents realized how serious this was and Severine saw herself on the way to Beaux-Bâtons.
Severine’s school years were hard on her in a way. She was muggle-born and felt she had to prove herself. She had to prove that being pure-blooded meant nothing more than having wizard parents. She worked hard and was rewarded accordingly. It is during these years that Severine discovered that she could read people’s thoughts, but not at will. When she shared this information with one of her teacher, he directed her to a mentor of sorts who would be able to train her. Legilimency was not easy to master, but Severine put as much effort into it than she had on any other topic, if not more. She sometimes caught thoughts unwillingly, but the training had allowed her to control it more efficiently. She could now block other people’s thoughts from randomly being heard by her and she could hear other people’s thoughts if she could concentrate enough.
The end of her training as a wizard saw her tutoring younger students and she discovered how much she enjoyed sharing her knowledge with other people and how rewarding this could be. Before she could become a teacher, Severine decided to visit other Wizard communities, travel all over Europe to see how things were done elsewhere. Travelling was obvious, finding other communities wasn’t necessarily easy. Severine travelled with no more than a backpack and a bit of pocket hard-earned money, for about a year before finding a new home in Hogwarts.

Roleplaying sample:
RP sample from a Underworld movie forum I play on:
The temperature was warm enough for Sabrina to wear a pair of fancy jeans shorts with a simple sleeveless white blouse. Her boots were clicking nicely with each of her steps; they were quickly becoming her favorite flat boots. She just loved the way the straps were arranged low and loose around her ankle. The fact that they were black and classy was a plus. Sabrina crossed her arms onto her chest, walking without haste along the Állatkerti körút (Zoo Boulevard). The sun had set an hour ago and the city’s night life was slowly getting into gear. It was a Tuesday evening though, so it was bound to be a slow evening. Sabrina didn’t care; it only meant less of a crowd, less of a temptation to gorge herself onto human blood.
She had been a vampire for exactly 10 years today. The only thing she missed was the sun. Feeling its warmth on her skin… Sabrina shook her head. Even though sun and fire had become her worst enemy, she still missed it sometimes. Nostalgia wouldn’t lead her anywhere pleasant. Why she had returned to Budapest after such a long leave was beyond her. Maybe to remind herself how she had lost the only man that had mattered in her life, or simply because Budapest had been where she had been reborn. Her decision to leave London had been hard, but she was here now and needed to find the local coven, so she could see if they had some use of a young vampire who couldn’t fight to save her life…
As she walked past the zoo and the Heroes’ Square, Sabrina was reminded that visiting a zoo was also something she couldn’t do anymore. The animals would feel there was a predator in the area and give signs of fear, and sometimes even panic and aggression. Someone called for the crowd to come closer and Sabrina remembered what came after the zoo, down that same street: the circus. That was something she could still do. Humans didn’t mind her presence all that much unless her grayish blue eyes turned into their glowing aqua color and her fangs came out. Well, a circus wouldn’t spark the need to protect herself or to feed, right? She had fed… recently. Her feet lead her to the circus, and before she knew it, she was inside looking for a place to sit.
