[INNER THOUGHTS]
Overview:
Rowan is an average Ravenclaw, he does not like to brag about it, but he knows that he is intelligent. He excels in all of his subjects at school, he is one of the best academic students in his year. The only subject that gets a lower grade than these is Herbology, which he thinks is pointless. He does not get why in a school of witchcraft and wizardry they should learn how to deal with such vile plants. He would probably do well if he actually tried, to frank he just cant be bothered in such and idiotic class. He feel other classes like Arithmacy and Ancient Runes and much more important than plants.
He is not at all a bad student, in his six years at Hogwarts he has never received one detention, and to all teachers he is the perfect boy, quiet, studious and well behaved. He is always careful to keep on a good level of respect with the teachers, so that he would never receive any warnings about misbehaving. This certainly helped him around the time of his OWL examinations, as the teachers though highly of him they passed this information onto the examiners, who were impressed by such a good boy and while on good terms with them it made his examinations a breeze.
All of the information above may make Rowan seem like a stick in the mud, a boring seventeen year old who has no fun, but that is not true. Just because he acts perfect around adults it does not mean that he is like this around his peers. He loves to have fun, and can always find a way to do so. When he feels like a quiet evening, his fun could be reading a book. When he is in an energetic mood it could be anything, creating and helping with pranks for other students, having a good laugh with someone or just rushing around with someone. He can sit still for quite a while, like studying or just reading, but there always had to be a balance.
One of the main things he does for fun is quiddditch, he loves the game! Just the idea of flying around on a broom makes him happier, catching and throwing balls to others. He especially likes the thrill of the game, making sure that his team wins, whether it is a game between friends or a game against rivals. He loves teamwork, and tries to stay at a friendship level with everyone, even people who he does not play with. This is mostly where he stays with girls; he has not had many girlfriends in his time at Hogwarts and does not know if he will get another.

[HISTORY]
Rowan Taylor was born to Clarisse and Damien Taylor on the 7th of September 1974. Clarisse was only nineteen when she fell pregnant, and she hid the fact from the rest of her family, the plan worked perfectly well until she went into labour at 6am in the morning at her mothers home. She was taken to St. Mungos and Rowan was born quickly, within two hours after Clarisse went into labour. Damien came to the hospital an hour later, after he finished his night shift at the ministry. The two were delighted with their healthy son, their first child and the start of their family.
Rowan was early to show his first signs of magic; it usually shows around year seven to nine, but for Rowan his first bout of magic was when he was three years old, where he managed to set the living room curtains on fire without touching anything. The little fire had destroyed the curtains, but no-one was angry with him for it, they were just proud that he had shown his magic and so early too! The curtains were easy to replace, and nothing compared the happiness about Rowan. They did not dislike squibs, but they were glad that heir son inherited their magical abilities.
A few months after he showed his magic, his little sister Kaitlyn was born. Rowan was kind to his baby sister, and was glad that he had a sibling. Their parents were glad that their two children just had a three year gap between them, so that they may get along better when they were older. They were right, Rowan and Kaitlyn got alone pretty well when they were older, and Rowan always looked out for his little sister. Sometimes they fell out, but they never stayed like that for very long, always making up in the end. And then, when Kaitlyn was four she too showed signs of magic, both of the children would go to Hogwarts.
When he was eleven years old Rowan was sent the letter by Hogwarts, inviting him to go and learn there for the next seven years. He was exited to go, and when he arrived his excitement doubled, just to see the giant castle which was going to become his home until the end of the year. As soon as the sorting hat touched his blond hair it screamed “RAVENCLAW”. Rowan was immensely pleased with this; Ravenclaw was the house that he had most wanted to join, not really thinking much other the other houses. It was apparently the house with the most intelligent students; maybe he would be one of them.
Rowan became one of the top students in his year, and loved his time at Hogwarts, first year, second year and third year. When he entered his fourth year his sister Kaitlyn also joined the school. He was glad to her have there with him, and he did not ignore her like so many siblings did, he talked to her in corridors and basically whenever he saw her. He let her hang around most of the time, but she knew when he just wanted to be alone. His friends seemed to accept the little first year, so everything was perfect. For Rowan and for Kaitlyn.
In his fifth year he had his OWL examinations, and passed them all with flying colours. He got nine Outstandings, in Charms, Transfiguration, Arithmacy, Ancient Runes, History of Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Care of Magical Creatures and Potions. He even received an Outstanding in Herbology, even though he did not even bother to study for that exam. He thought his exams had gone very well, and he had got good grades in all of his subjects. He was able to take all the subjects that he wanted to next year, dropping Herbology for his next two years, as he did not like the subject.
His Sixth year passed quickly, with no major examinations it was quite easy, though he had started studying for his NEWTS the next year. Before he knew it, it was the summer holidays before his seventh year.

Roleplaying sample:
The coast, to Mikkenzie it was a boring place to go. Sure, there was the sea, and the sand. It was an okay place to relax really, but she hated going there. She hated holidays to those sorts of places; it was just so boring, sitting around on a beach all day. And when it was holiday season, you couldn’t sit around and paint the sea, the waves, froth, sand, things that she would love to do. No, people always got in the way when it was busy, and if you did manage to get a good painting out of it people always watched you, and it was horrible to have lots of eyes burning into your back, like having to do an exam with someone watching.
Mikkenzie’s father had gone for a week or so at the coast, leaving Mikkenzie in Volterra alone. She was fine with the alone part, she was eighteen, very nearly nineteen; she could look after herself very well. She was even planning to find her own place soon. But she couldn’t go anywhere unless she had money now, she didn’t have her father to drive her to places like Florence, where there were much better shops than here in Volterra. Especially music shops, she had searched around this damn place just to buy some rosin for her bow, but no. Nothing. It may just have been that the shops here were sold out at the time, but it had annoyed her greatly.
Another reason that she did not want to go with him, was the fact that Marcus may appear at her house, unexpected like he always did. This was very irritating, to just walk into her room and just see him sitting there, she would have thought that she had got used to it now, but it always shocked her a little when she saw him there. She never knew when he would be there, sometimes once every few days, and then he would disappear, whether he was in Volterra or not, she did not know. But he came back every so often; she wished that once he would just tell her when he would come back, it would make it alot easier. And he wouldn’t scare her half to death when she opened the door.
Thinking of scaring, Marcus did make her a little bit afraid whenever he was around. She must be mad if she was not afraid when they was a vampire in their home. She had not told her father about what she had found on the internet, or the fact that she had actually met Marcus. HE had heard that she went to see him play, but that was the last he heard of him. He definitely wouldn’t be happy with the fact Marcus was often in the house, sometimes on his own. And he would not believe Mikkenzie if she said that there was a vampire called Marcus, who played the violin and probably many other instruments, who painted and came into their house.
Today Mikkenzie had been wandering around Volterra, in the warm sun. She hadn’t really done anything in particular, just walking mostly. She had had her lunch out, seen the plaza, the one with the big clock tower. Then she had been on her laptop in the park near her home. When it had started to get slightly dark she had gone for one last look around the streets, nodding to people who she saw, some that she knew. Even after living in Volterra for a month or so now she did not know many people. The neighbours spoke to her a few times, when they saw her outside her home, and there were a few people from the university that she went to. But other than that she didn’t have many friends, not that she ever really did.
She walked back to her home now; after all of her wandering she hadn’t accomplished much, except a bit of work for university. It was strange, but she had thought her architecture classes would be alot harder than they were, but maybe it was because she had just started them. But all she had to do for her work was to gather pictures of famous buildings. She did stuff like that it primary school! But no, apparently it was needed, she wouldn’t complain, she wanted to get the best grades that she could. She could probably get a good job as an architect afterwards, it paid quite a bit, and if it was something that she enjoyed she should just do it.
Mikkenzie walked into the house and shut the door behind her, as she did so she paused and listened to any noise in the house. Nothing, did that mean Marcus wasn’t here? But she never did hear anything when he was here, it was just pointless to listen really. If he was anywhere in the house he would be in her room, like he always was, so she should just go in there. She was always slightly paranoid that something would happen to her father when she was not here, Marcus was a vampire, and what would he do if her father stumbled upon his while he was in the house? But she really didn’t want to think about it, meeting a vampire was confusing. One hand you needed imagination to believe they were a vampire, on the other you didn’t want an imagination as you could think of all the things that they could do. And it didn’t help that he had first come here to kill her.
She pushed the door open to her room and almost dropped the laptop that she was holding. She knew that he did this, but she still wasn’t used to it. He could never knock on the door or something while she was already in couldn’t he? “Thanks,” She said sarcastically, putting the laptop on the desk, where it would be safe from her dropping it. She turned to face Marcus, who was clearly not wearing clothes from this era, but he could travel so fast, many people probably didn’t see him come. “What now?”
