Remus walked into the pub, exhausted, still wearing his work clothes from his pathetic job at Flourish and Blott’s. He was tired and even though God knew he didn’t have the money, he hadn’t stomached anything all day and felt dehydration nipping at his throat. Though normally, he could’ve shuffled home and crashed there, after sleepless nights and the full moon approaching, he felt as if he needed to rest immediately. He didn’t even bother going to the counter to get fluids. He found a corner and sat down, practically collapsing into his seat. He closed his eyes and rubbed his temples. It was late and the Leaky Cauldron was fairly vacant, most people having wrapped up their purchases for the day and either gone home or gone to bed. Home. Home sounded good. He leaned forward, resting against the table as he wondered whether Cora was home or not yet. He wasn’t sure how long she had said she’d be working tonight. He sighed heavily as a waiter approached, dimly hearing them asking what he would like.
“Just a butterbeer please,” he mumbled.

If I drown tonight bring me back to life breathe your breath in methe only thing I still believe in is YOU Belle walked into the Leaky Cauldron, a stack of books in her hand. She headed to the back of the bar, spreading the books out on the table. She was looking for a spell she might be able to manipulate to make Zephyr's monthly transformations easier on him, and so far she hadn't found anything of use. She was optimistic, though. The best potions had all derived from simpler ones.
She looked up when she heard a voice near her table, and she offered the guy a small smile. She had seen him before- he worked at the bookshop- but she had no idea who he was. He looked tired, though, and upon closer inspection, a little ill.
"I'm very sorry to bother you, sir, but are you all right?" She finally asked.

He returned the smile at Belle a little weakly, both from fatigue and his weariness of strangers. It was an unusual world they lived in these days. He remembered back in the day before Voldemort ever happened and how cavalier everything seemed. Now he wondered if his children would ever live in a place safe from Deatheaters. If he could ever walk down the street without having to worry about who was in the crowed. Or even go to sleep at night without having to safeguard his family’s little apartment to such extreme amounts. When he thought about it, he felt that the precautions he had to take were a little ridiculous but unfortunately completely necessary. It was a sad world they lived in. But he tried to push these thoughts far from his mind. Remus was usually the optimist.
He turned to look at her, his smile a bit friendlier this time though he naturally was suspicious of her concern. “Oh yes, I’m fine thanks. Just a long day at work.”
The waiter set his butterbeer down in front of him. Remus muttered a small thank you and he courteously nodded at the stranger before picking it up and taking a small sip.

This World Has , Only one Sweet Moment The weather had a habit of picking up and than getting worse when she stepped out in it. Lily wasn't one to complain about the water though because she liked the stormy weather. However the white spotted cat that she often carried with her did not. Snowflake was never to pleased with the weather and let her know by crawling inside her cloak. The cat was maddeningly smart. That was what usually happened when you had a magical cat. Known for its abilities to weed out those who it felt a threat to its owner. So Lily didn't mind its company on the nights she was out alone. Clad as she tended to be her white wizard robes with the black trim. Boots with the heels to give her enough height and not break an ankle. So when Lily saw the Leaky Cauldron up ahead she paused for a moment and than decided the best course of action was a pot of tea and maybe some cheese and bread. Especially with the low rumble of thunder outside that promised rain also prompted the witch to get inside and take cover. She would be glad for the autumn when the leaves were multi colored and the smell of winter was on the breeze. Not this hot tempermental weather.
Green eyes scanned the Cauldron from beneath a low pulled hood and she blinked in surprise to see a familiar if not welcome face among the patrons there. Another young woman was nearby as well inquiring to Remus's health and Lily felt a smile tug the corner of her lips. It was nice to see someone being nice to him he had been in school so worried about not being accepted even if he did run with the Marauders. Cora had done him a world of good even if at the moment he looked half dead. " 'Lo Remus." she said in greeting pushing her hood back as though he wouldn't know the slight figure or the scent of lilies that was her name sake. The cat coiled around her shoulder gave him the once over. If a cat was possiable of the evil eye it would have been Snowflake. Still she did not sputter or growl she merely licked Lily's cheek with a rough tongue making her wince and got comfortable."Surprisingly your just the man I wanted to see." she said with a chuckle. Than turned to Belle and offered her a warm smile. "Lily." she said as way of introduction. "I believe you spoil my children when were visiting and thank you for all the kindness you've shown them." Lily remembered people very well.
Flagging down the waitress she ordered a pot of hot cinnamon tea and three specials. She may as well treat those around her. "Might as well return a good favor." she said to them. Holding up a hand at Remus "Before you say No...think about who your objecting to." she teased. "You know protests on the grounds of foods go into one ear and right out the other." she winked at Belle at that. For Remus she slipped a notebook over to him. The book itself was stylized with coiling flowers. It was what was inside that was important. In Lily's precise and flowing hand was notes on a Potion translated from the normal form she tended to use. She didn't want to make him uncomfortable but it was the start to a better Wolvesbane potion. Nothing things on the side like other additives and there effect. "I think this is worth a go." she told him. Though remained standing until she was offered a seat.

If I drown tonight bring me back to life breathe your breath in methe only thing I still believe in is YOU "Oh, well, that's good then." Belle said quietly. She gave him a small smile and was just about to go back to her own table and leave him to his quiet contemplation when a familiar looking woman came over. Belle blinked as she was addressed, and then nodded, knowing exactly where she had seen this woman before. "Yes, I believe I do." She said shyly, folding her arms against her chest. She was wearing black gloves that didn't seem to quite go with the rest of her outfit. "You're quite welcome. I like children... I don't have any of my own."
She blinked when Lily winked at her, not understanding. She made a move to leave, knowing the two would probably be much happier by themselves. Perhaps they were married? She didn't know, but she didn't want to bother them.
