(ooc I put it here because I thought it could be cool to RP a shopping afternoon, and that means more than just one shop)
Severine came out of Gringotts with hopes that she wouldn’t have to set a foot in there for a long time. She clearly preferred being out in the open than down into these tunnels… It was Severine’s first visit to Diagon Alley and she didn’t quite find herself around all these shops. On her way from Paris to the Leaky Cauldron, someone had stolen her handbag in which they would find muggle money, a few makeup items and…. A rosewood wand. She felt rather helpless without a wand and it was one of the few things that made her really nervous. That was beside the fact that she clearly stood out in the crowd with her pale blue Beaux-Bâton uniform.
Severine walked toward the street with shops on either sides. She had enough money to buy herself clothes that were more traditional for Hogwarts, a new wand and some reading material too. Reading material could have been bought while she was still in the muggle world, Severine thought to herself. It was amusing to read what they could imagine the wizard community to be or what power they could have. Some of them were pretty close to reality, others… not so much. Severine quickly realized that without help, it would take her forever to find the proper shops. She tapped gently on someone’s shoulder. “Excusez-moi…” Severine began without thinking. French would always be easier, but she was on English soil now, better to speak the local language. “Excuse me. I am looking for the wand maker. Perhaps you could tell me where to find it.” Her French accent was thick, but Severine knew it would disappear slowly all through the school year. What bothered her most is that the person would most likely understand that she had no wand. That was not something she wanted to broadcast.
